At Total Groundcare Services, we’re no strangers to tough terrain—and last week was a perfect example. During the week commencing April 7th, our team was in Newcastle-under-Lyme, undertaking seedbed preparation on a particularly difficult site for one of our valued clients.
Despite the challenging ground conditions, our experienced operatives carried out the works efficiently, using specialist machinery to cultivate and level the soil, ensuring it’s in the ideal condition for seeding. Proper seedbed preparation is a vital part of any successful grass establishment, especially on sites that pose logistical or environmental challenges.
The next stage of the project—grass seeding and rolling—is scheduled for next week when we expect some much-needed rain in the air, helping to activate germination and give the new lawn the best possible start.
